They’ll learn soccer skills, be entertained by skits, meet new friends, and most importantly, learn more about their Savior Jesus in daily soccer-related devotions. We have some great coaches helping us from several area high schools and colleges, so we know your kids will learn a lot about soccer and their Savior!
All participants will receive a jersey. Make sure they bring a water bottle (although we have extra if they forget). Have them dress appropriately for the weather. If hot and sunny, hats, sunscreen, and light clothing. If cool or rainy, jackets or sweatshirts. For safety, we want the kids—especially older kids—to wear shin guards (though they can still play if they forget). Soccer shoes are optional, but encouraged. In the event of a lightning storm, we will usher all children under the pavilion at the park and into the bathrooms if needed. We will play through light rain. Notice the weather policies on the application – and note that we will post any cancellation or postponements online daily right on our website.
All parents and families are invited to join us for all or most of the morning on Thursday, for coaches/older kids game at 11:30 a.m. (or so), and then for a BBQ at noon, to conclude the camp.
